This last weekend I went and saw my family for the first time in like 4 months....and my little niece Kiya has gotten huge and even cuter!!! It was fun, we ate yummy food and hung with the family and played games. I need to go home more often!

And my little nephew Garrin has grown and turns out loves taking and having his picture taken, this is just one of many!!!
Ok, so that is my photo collage to catch up a little bit....more has happened, but I just don't have pictures. So I passed my nursing boards in June, and yes it was the worst couple of days of my life....I felt bi-polar trying to decide if I felt like I passed or not.....but luckily I did. I have been practicing as a nurse since then and have been loving it. I still have so much to learn, but it has been great. Daryl moved out here from California about a month and a half ago and is still looking for a job so pray for him. He plans to go back to school and then who knows where we will go......well....I think Ihave updated enough....hope there are still people out there to read this. I love you all and would love to hear from any of you!!!

Light at the End of the Tunnel and Spring Break

Here is my graduation invitation, sorry not everyone is getting one, I didn't really think about everyone I needed to send one to when I was printing them so everyone is invited, I just couldn't get them all out!! My graduation pics won't load right now so I'll load them on a separate entry!

So over spring break in March I went to disneyland and huntington beach and LA, to Hollywood. A quick sidenote, I seem to blog when I have the most to get done, not when I'm bored....little weird, but true. So here are some pictures. The weather was perfect in the 70's and the lines weren't long!!! Perfection!
Huntington Beach, super windy, but beautiful day

Where in the WORLD has time gone!!!

So honestly, I decided tonight to get onto my blog, since it has been FOREVER and see when the last time I wrote was and yea, that would be September....so Yea, little bit of a slacker. But that is ok! Quick update, Passed last semester with a 3.88 I think and on to my last semester of nursing school, so crazy I know, who knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel!!

So I don't really have many pictures to post, so I'll will just post the couple I have since the last time I wrote and tell ya what they are and then as always, I will try to keep up with my blogging!! =-)

So here I am on a weekend home with my super cute little niece Kiya Leanne.....I love her hair....here it's just fluffed but it's totally curly!
Here I am in front of the Oakland Temple over the Thanksgiving when Daryl took me up to see the light display and walk around the grounds.

I love this pic of my friend linds, we laughed so hard. This is at my friend Brit's B-day party in November and she was taking a pic of us....

Here is Brit, Me, and Sarah at the pizza factory for Brit's B-day!

This was moving day for my sister into my parents house and I was there to help and we were cold and trying to cover up our double chins!!

Just a little sisterly love!!

This was my co-workers bachelorette party at texas roadhouse with a bunch of other co-workers, it was a crazy night....but I left before the real craziness began!!! But I love these girls!
So there atleast are some random pictures so that you all know that I am alive amazingly enough! Daryl did take me to Wicked and it was sooooooo amazing I would go every weekend if I could, and Daryl even liked it!! So I'm about 3 weeks into my semester and it's weird because it doesn't seem like it's supposed to be over yet, but at the same time it's a sense of relief. It is a little worrisome thinking of all the things I feel I need to know, but I'm hoping it all just comes in time! Oh, and many of you probably don't know I'm living in a condo that my family bought. I live by myself which is a little weird at times, but other times it's great! Well, That's all I can think of right now, I will, as always, say I will make some kind of an effort to keep up on my blog, but no promises, all I can do is try! Love you all!!!

School has begun...

Ok all, so yes, it has been a while since I have blogged...which is pretty normal for me. Well my third semester has begun, which means only one more after this. I get to go to the ER, Cardiac Unit, ICU, and Same Day Surgery this semester. I'm pretty excited for all of them and I start clinicals tomorrow. I even have begun practicing IV's....it was a little nerve racking at first, but now not so bad

And here it is....my first IV.....Thanks Katie....I had to stick her 3 times to finally get it in right....we are each others pin cushions. I have practiced other times, and even on a fellow co-worker which has made for great practice. I'm excited to get a little better at it that's for sure. We are 2 1/2 weeks into the semester and I'm allready counting down the days....is that bad????

Well, I have a couple of pictures to put up from my last California trip, which was sooooo great. One day we spent the whole day at the beach in Santa Cruz, we even ate the best clam chowder there and I got a couple new shirts. We also went to a Dodgers/Giants game which was super fun....Dodgers won....but the ballpark was sooo cool, it's right on the bay and we were front row, center field....LOVED IT!!!

This place was so cool actually, before we went to the game we went over to Fort Point which is right under the golden gate bridge and it's just an old fort right on the bay....it was so windy I thought we were gonna get blown right off the walls.
We are just little specks but i think it's so cool us right uner the golden gate bridge. It was so cold and foggy this day to you couldn't even see the bridge unless you were right under it like we are here.

Here are Daryl and I on the third floor of the fort looking out over the bay...the bridge is kinda in the way though!=-)

This is looking from Fort Point to the citty, you can kinda tell how foggy it was, but the air was so wet it was crazy.

Here we are at AT&T park watching the giants lose to the Dodgers, it was such a cool game, I loved it so much.

Here is Jimmy Chung in his Giants hat, and Daryl in his Dodgers hat....there was a bit of a heat rivalry here between friends...but it was all in fun....even when i had peanuts and sunflowers seeds thrown at me because I was wearing a Dodgers hat....crazy baseball fans....and boy do they get drunk!!!

I just had to put this picture up because Daryl's face is my favorite here....this is after we had spent all day just laying on the beach on the most perfect day.

And here I am on the Pier at Santa Cruz eating some of the yummiest clam chowder I have ever eaten in my life.....so good....now I want some!!!

Well, that's about it for now. I do have to say that Daryl bought me tickets to go to Wicked in San Francisco this weekend and I am more than excited....WOOHOO!!! we are probably going to go to another Dodgers/Giants game again too....yes I know, I am a little spoiled, but that is OK!!! Well, hopefully I'll have fun things to blog about soon.....

Death by Bike

So my mom bought herself this nice new bike and I've been meaning to get mine fixed so I could ride it. I've been really wanting to get outside and run or ride to get back into shape. So this morning I woke up and thought I would go and take a nice bike ride. It wasn't too hot outside, actually compared to St. George it was really nice, so I thought it wouldn't be so bad. As I started out I was fine, but into it about 30 minutes I felt a little fuzzy headed and thought I should head back home, something isn't right. FYI, my house is at the the foot of the mountain, so to get back to my house you must go up hill. Since I wasn't feeling very good I decided to walk it back part way up the hill. I jumped off the bike and started walking it. All of a sudden I got super dizzy and nausea and almost fell over, luckily, there was some grass so I sat, partly falling onto the grass, while still holding the bike. Pretty sure people passing by thought I was drunk. I had to lay down to stop my head from spinning and keeping from throwing up. Then I thought for a minute, when was the last time I had a drink of water, and I came to realize it had been more than a day and a half. I know, who goes that long without drinking water, i never thought it but I do I guess. I came to realize that I was so super dehydrated. Lucky me, I had no cell phone or anything. So I decided to walk the bike the rest of the way and I should be fine. Not so much. I would walk for a couple minutes and the spinning and dizziness, and nausea would come back so I would have to sit down again, and a couple times I fell cause I lost my balance from being so weak. I did this many times before finally making it home. I even had to sit in a huge thing of weeds. Luckily when I got home and got into the kitchen my dad was home so I collapsed on the kitchen floor because I didn't even have the energy to stay standing long enough to get water. He got me a powerade and I sat up and started guzzling it down. Now I'm sitting at my computer writing about it because I still don't have enough energy to stay standing long enough to shower. Sorry, no pictures of this exciting adventure. Two lessons, always take your cell phone so you don't die on the side of the road and two ALWAYS drink a lot of water....still not sure what I was thinking! I'm still amazed I didn't pass out, I was so close I felt like I was about to, but never did, probably because the whole time I was praying to Heavenly Father to just let me make it home safe, and luckily he did thank goodness. So none of you guys have to come to my funeral yet, maybe the next bike ride though! =-)
